Widgets
Widgets are the building blocks of your Headstart dashboard. Each widget surfaces different information — from bookmarks to integration data — and can be arranged freely.
Grid Layout System
Your dashboard uses a 12-column grid powered by Gridstack.js. Each widget occupies a specific position and size on this grid. You can freely rearrange and resize widgets — your layout is automatically saved.
Drag to Move
Click and drag any widget to reposition it on the grid. Other widgets will flow around it.
Resize
Hover over the bottom-right corner of any widget and drag to resize. Width and height snap to grid cells.
Toggle Widgets
Use the settings panel to hide or show specific widgets. Hidden widgets won't appear on your dashboard.
Available Widgets

Google Calendar

Editing the Layout
Your dashboard enters edit mode when you start dragging a widget. While editing you can:
- Drag widgets to new positions — other widgets will reflow automatically
- Resize widgets by dragging the resize handle at the bottom-right corner
- Save your layout — it's persisted to local storage
- Undo changes if you don't like the result
- Reset to the default layout at any time
Free vs Premium
The Quick Access, Frequently Visited, Bookmarks, Pinned Apps, and Greeting widgets are available to everyone. Integration widgets (GitHub, Figma, Notion, Jira, Linear) require a premium subscription. Non-premium users will see a locked overlay with an upgrade prompt.
